Procedure
- Part I
- Dissolving the vehicle:
- Dissolve Glimepiride in MDC to form a uniform solution, and add it in pre sifted MCCP 101, Lactose and SSG with #60 and dry it till lod >2%
- Lubrication:
- Sift the Magnesium Stearate, Cross Povidone, SSG, EmpressG , Talc through 60# sieve separately, and Aerosil through 40# sieve.
- Mix above mixture in suitable blender.
- Compress the tablet having hardness 3-4 kg/cm2.
